Not unusually (for me), I’ve had a nagging little thing whirling around my head for quite a time now. I’ve spent ages trying to think up the correct plan of action, but as yet I’ve drawn a blank, so I thought it was probably time to share…

I love having this blog, I love to blog (not that you’d know that if you look at the amount of posts this year!!!),  I aslo love all the people I’ve got to know through having this blog, but and this is a really big but, I hate the fact that I can’t share this blog with 99% of the people I know. And there are a lot of people I know who’d be genuinely interested to know that I do in fact blog. There’d also be loads who wouldn’t even know what a blog is, but I’m not overly concerned with them

I think if this was purely a ‘tranny’ site (which it did initially start out as) then there’d be no question of wanting to share this site with everyone, but as I mentioned when I gave this site a face-lift recently, the tranny bit is actually now quite a small part of this site; my last ‘tranny’ post was on 20th December 2008

And all this has been niggling away at me for ages now, as I’ve been weighing up the options…

I could completely remove any trannyness from this site… Which in effect would be like returning to the closet and hiding, which I so don’t want to do.

I could have a ‘boy’ blog (which I have already made)… But then what happens with this site? Do I then turn this site into a pure tranny zone with nothing else (I’d really rather not ).

And there lies my dilema. I want a blog that I can share with non tranny friends & family, I don’t really want to abandon this site and I definitely don’t want to lose friends from this site. I did initially think that I’d get the non-tranny site up and running and just post non-tranny stuff onto both sites and keep the tranny stuff for here, but then Becky’s PROBO ( ‘Potential Route Of Being Outed’) rule comes firmly into play… I have two websites with exactly the same blog posts on them (I’m guessing a Google search would pick them both up pretty close to each other), the site layouts are almost identical (I’m lazy!!!) only one has pictures of a rather blokey looking girl on it… Hey hang on a minute it’s the same person!!! The PROBO is frighteningly high (or low, I’m not sure how the scale goes???).

And that’s pretty much where I’m at…

Well that was a largely unexpected break from the world of the blog I could of course give you the excuse that I’ve spent the last month attempting to write a 50,000 word novel, so didn’t have the time to blog. But thanks mainly to an annoying ear problem, my 2008 novel plans were ditched quite a while ago I could therefore give you the excuse that my entire month has been spent being rather pathetic with an annoying ear problem, so didn’t feel like blogging. But if I’m honest, the ear problem cleared after a few weeks (yes a few weeks ), so I can’t really use that one either…

The obvious and commonly used excuse in the blogging world is that ‘oh I simply had nothing to blog about‘, but again if I’m perfectly honest I did… But in much the same way that an abandoned half finished novel is always hard to pick back up, I’ve simply found it soooooooooooooo damn hard to type in the simplest of blog posts recently and I’ve no idea why

It has been a busy time of the year for commissions though…

As usual with web/blog design, despite taking my time with the major revamp of this site, I’m now incredibly impatient to get the new look online… So, as it’s fast approaching the witching-hour and as I’ve already sampled a few glasses of red, I’m going to give the new look a tentative little outing. So if anyone is looking in and notices any glaring mistakes, or indeed a whole page of jargon, then do let me know

I am a bit of a sucker for giving things a face-lift (probably too often than is really needed!!!) and felt this site was long overdue a revamp… And I’m not just talking about the blog part. To be honest, I dedicate so much time just updating the blog that I almost forget that this site is a lot more than it’s Rambling blog. There’s almost 4 years of stuff crammed away in the dark dusty recesses of this website… Most of which I would happily ditch and very nearly did, but according to the stats people do check out those forgotten about pages (mostly the early images which I simply loath ), so I’ve imported almost all of the old stuff onto the blog part of this site (About – History – and those dreaded images!!!)… And that’s what has taken the time

Anyway, enough rambling. Time to push the button!!!

There are some things that are best left until the morning after a bottle of red wine… Attempting to transport one’s blog onto another, more reliable site, is probably one of them!!!

Now I have been known to do my fair share of tinkering, so this blog will more than likely get completely hacked to pieces before too long…

It’s been on the card for ages… Blogger has been shite for ages… I’ve been playing with WordPress for ages… And I’ve had a bottle a wine…

So I’m about to pull the plug and attempt to move this blog over to WordPress… Oh poo!!!
